Congratulations to the 2024 NRDC Finalists!
Chief and Jake came to the line at 3:10 pm
F – Very wide right going out across the pond - got out and circled the cedars from the right and quickly located his bird.
L – Into the pond left of the stump - right side line - over the land bridge and into the 2nd pond - worked right around to his bird.
Chief and Jake came to the line at 8:50 am
R – Came into the area close to the cedars - put the brakes on and grabbed his bird. Good mark!
L – Through the first pond and then he hit the land bridge - came into the field wide right - running in and out of sight but worked his way to his bird and got it!
Chief and Jake came to the line ...
L – Nice recovery of the drake
R – Water entry a little wide right - exited the water and corrected his line coming past the right hand cedar - he carried this line to the cover and initiates a controlled hunt in the fall area to locate his bird.
Chief and Jake came to the line at 10:20 am for their Rerun
L – Through the gap and straight to his bird!
R – Drove the bowl over the large terrace, came in left of the guns for 1 loop and then quickly turned right for his bird!
Chief and Jake came to the line at 10:15 am and received a No-Bird (bird was thrown into the cedar tree)
They Will be back at the end.
Chief and Jake came to the line at 2:02 pm
Left – Into the 1st pond - and then directly up the hill to his bird.
Right – Into the big pond on a nice angle - came out under the arc of the throw - turned right to the bales and into the shade where he located his bird!
**Conditions Update**
Wind is moving left to right across the test at about 6 mph. Temperature is now 81 degrees.
Chief and Jake came back to the line at 10:24 am for their Rerun
F – Excellent Mark on his Flyer!
R – Good starting line out - angled the road nicely and drove the hill - made a couple loops tight and he had his bird!
Chief and Jake came to the line and received a No-Bird on the Flyer.
They will be back after 6 running dogs.

Chief and Jake came to the line at 3:52 pm
Down the terraced hill into the corner of the water - up and over the dame into the cove - crossed the point and swam to the near side of the dead tree - went around the tree to the shore - back into the pond and located his bird.
18. A FIERY STREAK IN THE MIDNIGHT SKY, “Comet,” LM, Cole Baker
No-Bird 17. SHERRY WAS A WAITRESS, “Sherry,” LF, Heather Pfluger
Chief and Jake came to the line at 7:54 am
F – Right to the fall area and quickly got his duck!
R – Out on the right - cut across in front of the guns and went deep to the tree line for a hunt - worked his way back to the bird and got it.
Chief and Jake came to the line at 1:50 pm
R – Stayed right of the bush and went straight to the bird.
L – Smack!
Chief and Jake came to the line at 10:42 am
F – Nice line angling across the terraces, a quick circle and he was on the bird.
R – A little left and then right and he got his bird.
